It’s time to sort out the garage! Join me for a behind the scenes look featuring all 8 of my cars during a 500 mile journey from Germany to the UK. With some crazy logistics recently, and even more coming up, there’s a lot of planning that has to go on for the cars like the Senna and the GT.
Kicking off from Frankfurt, the main mission is to get my Ford Focus RS Red Edition back to London after some fun at the Nurburgring before the next modifications are made. That means a 500 mile journey or so including the Autobahn and via stops at Apex Nurburg, some filming in Eindhoven, and my storage unit in London.
Leaving from the garage, the Focus RS Heritage Edition is staying in Germany despite needing a swap back to summer tyres before long, and the Ferrari GTC4Lusso is also prepared for the upcoming Where’s Shmee tour that will take it all around Europe. The first stop is to Apex to check on the Ford GT and get it ready to be loaded up the following day to head back to the garage in London. After a pause for some filming in the Netherlands it’s then onwards towards the Eurotunnel and across to the UK for a few movements. First up is the AMG GT R which hasn’t been run for 4 weeks or so; but will it start first time? Then it’s over to storage where the McLaren Senna, 675LT Spider and Aston Martin Vantage GT8 have all been brought back from respective events and unloaded. The last stretch is to bring the GT8 back to my home garage ready for another drive but that’s a look at the logistics covering all of the cars in my current line-up over one ‘day’.
